Over the course of his career, Tim has become very familiar with Michelin Stars. His most recent, his fourth, was awarded to him only this year, just seventeen months after sō-lō first first opened its doors.
Featured in all of the major food guides, for Top 50 Gastropubs and Top 100 Restaurants. He has also been a competitor on the BBC’s Great British Menu.
sō-lō is Tim’s first solo venture. Relaxed dining, serving an inspired menu.
This ensures we always have availability to the freshest and finest seasonal foods. Our close relationships with farmers and other outstanding artisan food producers, locally and across the UK, guarantees that every menu features a wealth of the most exceptional ingredients.

All reservations require a deposit at the time of booking:
£20 per person for our lunch Menus
£30 per person for our Tasting Menu
Full payment is required for special events (such as Valentine’s, Christmas Day, Guest Chefs Nights)
This will be redeemed against the total of your final bill
A discretionary service charge of 10% will be added to your total bill, inclusive of the prepayment.
If cancellation is within the 72 hours, we can refund or move your booking to another date.
Cancelling your reservation less than 72 hours before your visit will result in the loss of your deposit. We will attempt to re-sell your table to another party, and if successful, a full refund will be issued.

Spring Closure
sō-lō will be closed from Monday 26th May 2025 until Wednesday 4th June 2025 reopening for dinner service Thursday 9th June 2025.

By Train: Direct line from Liverpool Central to Town Green Station (only a few minutes walk to sō-lō)
Parking: We have a car park at the back of the restaurant with limited parking space, there are on-road spaces, or the village hall a few minutes walk has ample parking spaces.
If you’re running late for your booking, please email us as our phone line will be closed during service hours.
Please inform us of any dietary or allergies requirements when making your reservation, so we can prepare everything for your arrival.
It may not be possible to accommodate requests made on the day.
We do not cater for vegan.

We welcome well-behaved children for lunch and dinner, we have a few highchairs available.
We do not have a children’s menu available, however, if organised before the booking date we can do dishes (smaller roast on Sunday, fish/meat with vegetables, pasta with tomato sauce)
There is no dress code.
We are unable to accommodate dogs in our restaurant, unless they are guide dogs.
